I’ll also install a cluster of 8-12 "sample locks" to evaluate how well they hold, check their size, scalp visibility, and the settling-in time.

This consultation is essential for both of us to ensure that Sisterlocks™ are installed in the best possible way for your hair and specific needs.

The locking process can take anywhere from 10 - 20 hours or more, so I recommend bringing a book or something to keep you entertained. By the end of the session, you’ll likely leave feeling a renewed sense of confidence!

I'll provide you with a starter kit, which includes the Sisterlocks™ starter shampoo for your new locks, small rubber bands, and tips on grooming and shampooing as your locks start to settle in.

Be sure to schedule your follow-up appointment before you leave, as proper maintenance is key to keeping your Sisterlocks™ looking beautiful over time.

You should schedule this follow-up visit after at least two washes, usually within a month of your establishment.

During this appointment, I will assess the condition of your locks, retighten them, and give you an estimate on how long it will take for your locks to fully settle in.
